Interview Monster
Whoa. Sorry for my long absence. Do you know that I literally forgot my username and password, it's been so long?? :p Well, I'm back. ;) Life in Alexandria is wonderful. I'd never find my way anywhere without Lilly (the car), but that's okay. For the most part (aside from normal household things), I spend my days looking for jobs, applying, and (now, thankfully) interviewing (not to mention hanging out with my wonderful husband). No job has been finalized yet, but when there's an income, I'll think we're rich. :) I hope to put my life back on some sort of schedule... I seem to work better that way. I'm getting back on track, but I hope to start exercising again. That is all people do here... exercise and walk their dogs. I'm pretty sure that most people don't even have jobs... how could they pull themselves away from the spandex and leashes long enough to work? .... hmmmm.... on that note, perhaps I should secure a job before getting too attached to this exercise thing. ;)

I hope the whole interviewing process goes great for you! Good luck :)
Also, do we see a pet maybe in the future? It would be nice to go on relaxing walks with...
Thanks for the "good luck"! :)
A pet... well... a guy was shot in the head the other night while walking his dog, so... eh? I'm being dramatic (that did happen, but in DC, not here). We do talk about pets... it would be nice. I think we might have a better idea of what we can do when we get a budget figured out. :) Speaking of which, how's Sammy? :)
Yes, it has been a long time- Do you think the mgmt is okay with missing out on two posts? :P
did you have to look for your username and password from another source?
I'm glad you used the word "wonderful" for Alexandria because that is the word that I think of when I put Sarah/David + Alexandria- honestly. oh, and can't forget Lilly :)
Yes, mom & I continue to pray for you during this uncertain moment in your life, but it is a good experience, yes?
as for getting on track- yeah, I used to think I didn't need a schedule, but a schedule is refreshing sometimes.
what is your choice of exercise btw?
... oooh... I don't know... that's a tough call about the management. ;) :)
Actually, I just kept guessing usernames and passwords until I figured it out. :p
Thank you so much for your prayers. Yes, it's all a good experience. It'll lead to the right somewhere soon.
My choice of exercise is anything I can stick with. ;) Actually, right now, I'm trying to look into the best way to begin a running program (I have a tendency to neglect my cardiovascular needs, even when I do other things). I know I need to start out by walking for a couple of weeks and just take it really slowly. I have this problem of starting too fast and burning myself out. I want to do something I can really keep up, you know? Any suggestions?
I would definitley be scared if I heard that someone got shot in the head when he was walking his dog...forget dog...how about a cat? jk
Sammy's good :) He hasn't lost any of his frisk yet.
Actually, I would like to take a cat out for a walk... and we've talked about getting a cat... that'd be fun! :)
I'm so glad Sammy hasn't lost any of his frisk... he just wouldn't be Sammy if he did, would he?
Have you considered yoga? I wanted to take it here, but they don't have any classes here. Maybe I should buy a tape. It's very popular here in Korea- they even sold a yoga tape at a Lotteria!(equiv. to McDonald's)
I occassionally enjoy hiking the mountains, but hm... what else is there anyway? and what are your options? Running is too hard for me :P
lol...that reminds me of a time I tried to walk my cat many, many years ago.
From previous experience...cats definitely don't do walking...it's more like dragging. Let's just say they're not fond of leashes.
and now I have to go to inspection . . .
but yes, good luck with interviews, good luck with the exercising . . .
I'm doing well, but can't be late to formation!
Yeah, yoga sounds really good. I think a tape would be worth the investment. I've never done much of it, but hear good things. I really like Pilates... but right now I think I need something cardiovascular, you know?
Oh no... cats aren't fond of leashes?? But it'd be SO cute. :)
Samuel, hope you made it to formation! I also hope your leg is much, much better.
I read that there are yoga cardiovascular exercises somewhere? I emailed Jung Spooner the other day, and she said she didn't realize how hard yoga was (the avid runner that she is/was). I don't know if she necessarily did cardio yoga, but it made me want to try the challenge..
lol, cats and leashes-- hilarious
HMMMM... yoga does sound better and better all the time!
