Our weekend in Shenandoah

Sarah and I went to Shenandoah for her birthday last weekend. We have some pictures, but Sarah has those on her digital camera, so you'll have to ask her.

We drove the entire Skyline Drive - 100+ miles of mountains at 30 mph. While I kept saying that it looked like Missouri (and it does), I do have to admit that the mountains are much larger than the ones of the Ozarks. I'm sure that if we were from the area, we would have never done it (how many times have we driven through or camped in Mark Twain National Forest?). We stopped at every scenic view (over 70!) and stayed in a cabin. It was a really good trip, so we'll have to post pictures when we can.

Happy Birthday to Sarah!

That's cute that you did that- it's always to do something close to home and it appreciated--
