Korea in Pictures

To make up for my previous LONG, pictureless post, here's a view from my side of the world!

This one of the campus museums that is in the middle of our campus...

And what's Korea without a little karaoke??

"Play with me!!!"

Yesterday was March 14, also known as White Day. It's a holiday where girls receive chocolates & gifts from boys (whereas Valentine's Day is the opposite). All day long I saw girls with large arrays of flowers, balloons, chocolates, etc. So, in DIShonor of White Day, a few of us girls decided to go out. Behind us in the picture is a bunch of gifts & cutsie stuff for sale on the street (they were EVERYWHERE)...we're all supposed to be frowning, but I couldn't help it. haha.

Now that I finally have my digital camera back, I will update more posts (with pictures!) about my travels. So...

To be continued...

Hi Anne!

Hope you're having a great time... it looks like a blast.

Sorry to everyone... I'll come out of hiding eventually. David is posting everything I've been involved in, so I have nothing new right now. ;)

Take care!

Nice
so you get to go out alot?
but how's school like?
are your friends doing the same program as you? and if so, from what school?

I go out frequently...there's always seems to be a reason to go out.

The school is good, but I don't get to see much of it since my classes are all in the same building right next to my dorm. (My dorm is very out of the way...not near main campus at all)

My friends are doing the exact same program as me...they're from all over the States. CA, WA, IA, NY, AL...you name it. It's hard to make friends w/the other international students since they don't speak the same language as you...

BTW!!! I know I said that there were going to be a lot more picture posts from now on, but I lied! My camera broke!! Yes, it is tragic..something w/the lens (it's called E18; it's apparently occurs frequently with Canon cameras :P)
