I hope you guys read the draft...I was wondering why Esther kept drafting so many posts...because it's all in Korean and I didn't know which one to push!
So spending time with the relatives...Daejon where I played tennis with Paul's folks...gohmohboo is good! He actually coached me and hit about 700 balls to me...yeah, I was pretty tired after that...in Busan met up with the grandparents and wehsamchun, then met up with Sang-Woo's family. They moved again and have an even bigger home that overlooks haeundae beach. I went to a bath house today and got all of my dead skin cells rubbed off...it was pretty disgusting to see how much was on my body...
Also talked with the grandparents and the 'rents and wehsamchun. I knew that grandpa was rich, but I didn't realize how rich...I mean in the 1998 Asian financial crisis he lost over 2million dollars due to cosigning a machine while he was drunk...yeah, that's why wehsamchun and grandma get so ticked when all he does is drink and wet himself...it's sad, but it's different when you have to live with someone who can't take care of themselves. It's also sad that he's lost 10's of millions of dollars, no exaggeration, due to his closest friends taking advantage of him. Mom told me this...and why he saved up so much money...his life dream was to build a school = (
David, is this why you said you wanted to make a school with me? I told mom that it was going to be a goal of mine to make a school, somewhere, and name it after him. We'll see...

daejeon- of course gomobu is good! That's awesome that you got to spend some quality time with him :)
I can't believe that sang woo's family has an even bigger house. crazy. why would they need it?! the kids are in college, right?
Grandpa's story is sad :( I had no idea. aww- that's a noble dream to have. :)
Bet:
Anne gets $5 for every pound she loses, dad gets $2.50 (he can lose more weight more easily), and I get $4.
The weight must be held constant for at least a week before the contest ends (sometime in NOV/DEC)
You must pay the difference to EVERYBODY if you lose...
ex: if we all lose 10 pounds, I owe Anne the difference of $50 and $40; $10. And dad owes Anne the difference of $50 and $25; $25. and me the difference of $40 and $25; $15
Get it? If you want to join, Anne will decide how much each pound is worth for you.
And this bet is using the honor system so you do not have to reveal your weight to anybody...just how much you lost and have been able to keep consistent for AT LEAST a week (so that David won't just lose 20 lbs inthe last week...or something like that (ex...wrestling) = P)
We want this to be a healthy diet/fitness bet...not "I'll just not eat for a week"

Actually...Sang is going to the Army tomorrow! for 5 weeks, then gets to do like another govt job for a year (I think because he has $$$ he can take that option) and his sister is still at home...
nice bet--- I don't think I could join, but I'm rooting for all of ya! I heard dad wants to quit? :P go figure!!
