May

May is the month of the family.

David and Sarah are moving. David is studying hard for graduation, and we will celebrate his graduation.

We painted the in and outside of the house. We repainted all the cabinets and added curtains to the windows in the kitchen and living room. We replaced all the screen windows. We repainted the barn in the backyard. We dusted the entire house. We did this in time for the spring.

Right now we eat spinach, lettuce, chives, and green onion from the garden. Now we planted tomato, pepper, cucumber, zucchini, and other Korean vegetables (do-la-ji) in the garden and they should be ready in July.

We cooked galbi for Dad's birthday (jin-gap, the 61st birthday, a big celebration, like the 60th, han-gap). We celebrate at Gomo's house. There was Gomo, Gomobu, Esther, Anne, Daniel, Pam, Naomi, Don, and me. For his 70th birthday, you all must prepare a big party. It's your responsibility to invite all the people and make presents for guests.

Gomo and Gomobu are at Jung Mee's house for two months.

We will have big vacation soon to see David and Sarah. I'm sad no one else can go to David's graduation. We go to the Bahamas. I am excited.

Everyone needs to call home to Dad more or else he feels lonely.

Be healthful in mind and body. Pray for Dad's right ankle because it is hurting.
