Cherry Blossom Time
It's that time of year... Cherry Blossom Festival 2006! David and I made our way there twice during the past week. It's beautiful, but traffic (car and foot) was unbelievably awful this weekend... even for DC. Next year we plan to tackle the tidal basin in one of those paddle boats... YES!

wow--- that's so cool- I bet the Japanese in the city are lovin' it. So with the paddle boats-- how far in advance do you think you'd have to reserve it?
i don't know... i would a couple of hours, at MOST, but there are usually a few lying around that there shouldn't be any wait.
