OKC to Cancun
Half the Kims came over to OKC, and what a treat that was! Sam never visited the Memorial, so we just had to stop by. (Sorry Sam, for not cropping you tip-toeing :P--anyone know why he is on his tip toes?)
Sam (not David!) observing the Reflection Pool between the 9:01 and 9:03 gates
The Survivor Tree
On the way back to the car, we spotted R2D2 and had to take a pic (I think he was using a pamphlet from the memorial)
Onto the pics you really wanted to see from Cancun! We flew in on Wednesday the 4th and out on Saturday the 7th.
The sand wasn't as hot as dad liked it to be, but that didn't stop him from rolling around in it. I wish I took a pic of him rolling around in the sand because it looked like he was having SO much fun. He said the sand felt like a silk blanket on top of him.

This is the hotel we stayed at, the Riu Caribe

Day 2, Thursday, Sam & I took a package tour to Isla Mujeres. Mom & Dad chilled behind doing things like taking scuba lessons and of course enjoying the beach.
We could see our hotel from the cruise.

We were also accompanied on the trip by the four loud amigos.

On the first half of the trip, we went snorkeling. The name of the boat shared our name, so we decided to take a pic.
Sam took part in some illegal action by removing his annoying life jacket. (That was the cause of my sea sickness)
going in for the kill...

"V" for vicious Sam.

The second half of the day was relaxing on the beach and going bike riding on the island. A refreshing downpour came at the end of our ride, so we didn't get to see the lighthouse at the edge of the island.

random water slide that was there...wheee! Sam surprisingly enjoyed it because it honestly didn't look like much.
Day 3, Friday, we all went over three hours away to a place called Chichen Itza. It was recently voted to be included as one of the seven world wonders.
On the drive there, we took a break at this sinkhole.
Here is a temple that is at the center of the site.

This was a nearby sinkhole that the place was named after because Chichen Itza means, "At the mouth of the well of the Itza."

Just a fun random pic.
Last day, Saturday. We had to catch our shuttle by 9am, so we decided to wake up early to see the sunrise.

I apologize for the lack of pics...especially at the beach. Nobody was really in the mood to take lots of pics.

B - O - Y

We are having a little baby boy! Here is the G-rated sonogram. I'm pretty sure that you can make it out, but it looks like the baby is lying down (the head is to the right and the belly is to the left).
Seeing the sonogram was great! I got to see the baby toss and turn... sometimes showing the outside of the baby and others the inside (like heart, bones, etc.). The doctor asked if we wanted to know if it was a boy or girl... Sarah and I hadn't decided for sure yet, but it was too late... the baby already "showed" me that it was a boy.
Unfortunately, Sarah didn't have as good of an angle as I did, so she didn't get to see very much.
