Tax Rebates

I'm sure that everyone will, but you need to be sure to file a tax return this year. Even if you don't think that you need to because you didn't owe any taxes or make any money, it is important if you want your rebate.

"Some people are normally not required to file a return. To get the rebate, however, they have to file a federal tax return."

Squad Outing

Mom told me I should post since I haven't posted in a while...I told her I was busy studying = P

It's true, but here's what I was up to on Saturday:



The place was kind of ghetto, but it was fun because it was only us racing each other...and it was only $13 for 4 sessions of 5 minutes...plus they let us be REALLY rowdy...I had a straight on collision TWICE! My back kind of hurt, but now I know why there are rules...and why they restrict the motor to only go 25mph...

As you can see it was cold...making good use of my beanie thingy I got for Christmas from Bill and Diane and my scarf from the parents

After dinner and such, we saw Guys N Dolls...it was really good! I knew three songs from the musical

And my plebe was also in the "pit crew" for it...

Now just busy with school stuff and being a squad leader!

Crash

so I finally saw this movie this past weekend: twice. Once w/ my friend Katie (from college)-- I brought the DVD from the library, not knowing that she owned it :P Anyway, I saw it the next night w/ my host parents and a few friends of mine I invited, so we had pizza and a movie. Love it. Anne, is this the movie you talked about and said you didn't like? Oppa & Sarah- I'm sure you've seen it? Tell me what you thought of it! wow.

Loved the article by "Ask a Korean" entitled, All o'Y'all Look Alike!! but also loved a link to exam #1: Faces that I found in the comment section below. Basically, you'll have to distinguish between Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans...I'm sure you guys will do better than I did, but you never really know sometimes!!! You'll have to register a username just to take it, but it's only for survey purposes. email is optional too...

Transition Mode

So I haven't moved into the Refuge yet, but I have been fortunate to stay w/ a family in Edmond. I've known the Marshall for almost a year now, and they've been a part of the Mars Hill Community since the beginning. Anyway, they have two cute boys named Cooper & Drew--
